Do I need an egress window to finish my basement?

Any basement bedroom or sleeping area is required by code to have a compliant egress window for emergency exit. We size and install it to meet local code so your project passes inspection.

Can you cut into a poured concrete or block foundation?

Yes. Our crews cut both poured concrete and block foundations safely, then reinforce the opening, set the window and well, and tie in proper drainage.

Will water collect in the window well?

Not when it’s done right. We install gravel and a drainage connection at the base of the well and add a cover to keep out debris and rain.
